In partnership with American Forests, the Colorado State Forest Service, the Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners and the City of Greeley, the Anheuser-Busch Fort Collins brewery planted 1,000 trees and shrubs on May 14 in the wildfire-stricken areas of Poudre Canyon. The event is part of a larger effort to plant 50,000 trees to help reforest hillsides and slopes damaged by the Picnic Rock Fire that ravaged the landscape in 2004. As part of the event, more than 100 volunteers from Anheuser-Busch took part in the first phase of the tree planting.
