Anheuser-Busch Celebrates
Green Week, April 19-23
April 22 is Earth Day in the United States. But Anheuser-Busch embraces environmental stewardship every day of the year. In 1991 the company introduced "Green Week" at its 12 breweries. In 1993 Green Week expanded to the rest of the company's subsidiaries to increase the level of environmental awareness among employees. For years employees have participated in various waste minimization and recycling programs. Company-wide, these efforts have helped recycle more than 97 percent of the waste A-B generates. Today, many subsidiaries continue to celebrate Earth Day by participating in the corporate driven Green Week and local activities.
