For guests, the special tour makes an impact. "The staff are very friendly and very passionate about what they do," said Karen Arnott from England. "I really enjoy getting close to the animals.thanks to these special people. This is just one of the many reasons we always make sure we visit SeaWorld every time we're in the States."

Each "Saving a Species" tour guest also receives a complimentary animal magnet commemorating their experience - a small token of thanks for helping the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund protect wildlife and wild places worldwide.

Merchandise that Makes a Difference

As guests stroll through gift shops throughout the parks they now have the chance to contribute to conservation.

On select merchandise, 15 percent of the purchase price will be donated to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. Whether it's an endangered species t-shirt or a tear-off contribution slip, park shoppers can be confident that their support is helping protect and preserve some of the world's most at-risk animals.

"This line of cause-related merchandise speaks to many of our guests who are passionate about animals," said Michael Catcott, corporate vice president of merchandise. "It also provides a simple way for them to get involved with wildlife conservation."

Reaching out Online

The Fund's Web site - www.swbg-conservationfund.org - recently added a donation feature. Attracting wildlife enthusiasts from around the world, the site features up-to-date information on the Fund's field projects, partners and priorities. It also links to the parks' award-winning animal information Web site - www.seaworld.org, a database packed with information, activities and fun facts about a wide array of species and habitats.

Coming soon...

An entire store dedicated to discovery, exploration and natural wonders will soon become reality at the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks. Xcursions will debut in December 2004 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, then roll out to SeaWorld Orlando in the spring of 2005. Featuring merchandise from around the world, Xcursions aims to engage and inspire guests, enabling them to connect to the natural world and contribute to conservation.

With the arrival of summer, the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund is enjoying a higher profile among millions of Anheuser-Busch Adventure Park guests and wildlife enthusiasts worldwide.

The Chance to "Save a Species"

Earlier this year, the SeaWorld parks began offering a new behind-the-scenes tour. With a portion of every tour sold going directly to wildlife conservation, the "Saving a Species" tour allows guests the opportunity to help protect the very animals they encounter during their park visit.

At SeaWorld Orlando, the hour-long tour takes guests behind the scenes for an up-close look at the park's animal rescue, rehabilitation and release efforts. Manatees, sea turtles, birds and other injured or ill animals have received a new lease on life with the help of SeaWorld's animal care team. As part of the tour, guests have the rare opportunity to hand-feed exotic birds in a free-flight aviary and visit the park's rescue and rehabilitation facilities, where endangered and threatened species receive state-of-the-art veterinary care.

Guests who sign up for the "Saving a Species" tour at SeaWorld San Antonio have the opportunity to hand-feed colorful lorikeets, go behind the scenes with an aviculturist at the Penguin Encounter and visit endangered Hawaiian monk seals - the most endangered marine mammal found in U.S. waters. In San Diego, tour guests feed endangered sea turtles and venture behind the scenes at SeaWorld's Shark Encounter® to touch sharks.
